About

Anna Pearce
at The Pilates Corner
Movement – good, juicy movement – is a fundamental part of who I am and what I do. A trained contemporary dancer, like many people I found my way to Pilates through injury; the part the method played in my own rehabilitation showed me its value and benefits for all. Pilates is about learning what it means for your individual body to move well, regardless of physical abilities or personal background. Having trained with Body Control Pilates, Lisa Bradshaw Pilates Academy for Teachers and Stott Pilates, my pilates teaching career spans more than ten years, and is constantly evolving. My classes are designed to bring about awareness, guiding you with kindness towards ease of movement while challenging the body with (and through) motion.
The Space
A nourishing space to get curious about, strengthen and move your frame, The Pilates Corner is a small, personal studio guided by principles of accessibility of language, movement and sensorial experiences for all. Located in Brighton’s Rottingdean Village, it offers one-to-one or small-group Pilates classes that are – as described by existing clients – playful, rewarding and transformative.
